Okay, I wasn't born in 80s BUT I know a god damn thing or two about 80s band and Personal Damage.. Is truly a rebirth of punk in the 80s in this day in age, with sounds similar to the stains. Everyone in Los Angeles knows how much this band rules, group vocal's, well alined guitar and bass riffs, solid perfect drumming, and the lyrics. It's unapologetic. True punk sounds. They're a personal favorite, and without a doubt. They'll become your personal favorite too, just take a listen. 

This is punk done right.

Protocultüra a perfect example of well executed synth punk. They just released this new 7" thru Under The Gun Records, which is also a great label with awesome releases. I highly suggest getting this 7". It's all so catchy, plus Sheila's voice really captures you when listening and flows so well with the drums, and synth's. 

They're also amazing live, i got the chance to book their record release November 2nd at 5star bar in Downtown Los Angeles. For a Sunday, the room was packed! Over 100 people filled the room to see Protocultüra which if you don't follow the band, they were based in Los Angeles but Sheila moved to Denmark and now you only get to catch a Cultüra gig if she's around. I find it exciting when a band doesn't play that often, or even at all. Special. 

Anyways, this 7" speaks for itself. 4 solid tracks, catchy, perfect, and PUNK.

This is one of those bands you'll hear about 20 years from now, story's of their shows, who they were,  what they wore, what they created. Truly a master piece of a band, for those who are fans of synth punk.

I suggest you pulled out your credit card or debit card because if you haven't hear this band, you'll want to own one their records.. I could write a whole essay on the band and the people in the band but the music speaks for itself. IYKYK

Folleto - Ladron E.P

FOLLETO! Ladron E.P was self released in 2016, recorded by Toby at the junkyard. Also with sick art by Sal. Took em like 2 hours to record this E.P, bring you 3 tracks of fucking straight forward los angeles punk sound. On the plus side, they just repressed a couple more tapes so if you catch one of their gigs, try to grab a tape before they're gone. The members in this band are quite good friends of mine, really cool people. Also very good musicians. These tracks are noise, fast, and also very catchy and to top it off spanish vocals.. 

Serious shit though just listen to E.P, you'll be hooked. Folleto fucking rules.
