Problem child came up and that first song from this tape "Last Minute" played and i was like yep.. This is one good fucking band. This tape is just way to good to not be heard.

FOLLETO! Ladron E.P was self released in 2016, recorded by Toby at the junkyard. Also with sick art by Sal. Took em like 2 hours to record this E.P, bring you 3 tracks of fucking straight forward los angeles punk sound. On the plus side, they just repressed a couple more tapes so if you catch one of their gigs, try to grab a tape before they're gone. The members in this band are quite good friends of mine, really cool people. Also very good musicians. These tracks are noise, fast, and also very catchy and to top it off spanish vocals..
Serious shit though just listen to E.P, you'll be hooked. Folleto fucking rules.

Man these dudes are sick, Life Fucker from Berlin. EP was released back in March 16, 2016, also with some great death traitors art. The first 40 seconds of the first track "Nightmare"is fucking great. Layers of noise building and building.. It can be quite creepy when you are sitting in a dark room with headphones blasting. Ahh i don't know, i'm just scared of ghosts. "Violent Past" is such a kick ass song. Those begin riffs makes me feel like moving and maybe rolling around the floor a little.. maybe but no. Every single song is filled with great riffs, over all it just sounds fucking powerful.

Dead Hero, Seguimos En Pie was released back in 2015. I found this demo a while back on terminal escape and as usual i download a bunch demos from blogspots. Once i've downloaded enough demos to keep myself occupied for the next 3-4 hours, i begin to get burnt and listen to all the demos. Coming across this demo, i was like yeaaaah! This is definitely going to straight to my playlist. It's filled with songs you just want to chant too! My song favorite is "Demo Quevas A Hacer". Those lyrics are personally quite true to me, talking about how shitty our generation is and what the fuck you are going to do to help out! Colombia punk putting it down!

Hell yeah! PMS 84. Their Demo was Self-Released 2016 and the 7' was release thru Nightrider Records in 2015. I think it was 2016 that i got to see them in Los Angeles not quite sure.. I smoke a lot of weed. Anyways, i do remember their set. Fucking place was packed and of course with a packed place you've got those drunks (me) that spilled beer all over the floor and fuck when they began to play.. it was like a fucking slip and slide party. On the other hand PMS 84 fucking rules. I could try to explain how great they are but i rather you just listen to both the 7' and 2016 Demo. Also the bassist has the sickest neon green bass and she rips as well! If this band is ever around your local area playing gig, i highly suggest you go! [download link has both tapes]

well.. Mark Winter. Total fucking nerd man, G.S.B is another one of his solo projects and of course its fucking great! 6 songs filled with fast loud and weird riffs and yeah.. one pop song that fucking rules. "Quote" is my favorite song on this tape, it's just all over the place with quite angry lyrics. Which i find fucking great, because you know "i'm just an asshole". Also Primus produced this tape according to the front of the tape, now thats pretty fucking rad. If you are a fan of any Mark Winters projects. You will love this one. Its like Coneheads x3 more coneheads if that make's sense but anyways listen to these songs and be consumed by Marks genius writing skills.

LA EQUI.. No doubt one of my top 3 favorite bands in los angeles. I've seen them play once, only witnessed 3 songs although. Those 3 songs were well damn played. Those guitar riffs are fucking clever, also those drums man.. The drummer played a couple cover shows few months back, and they were doing some pretty classic misfit covers and also he was drumming and doing vocals. Which to me is pretty hard, not impossible but hard and dude was on point. Later finding out he play's in La Equi. Spanish vocals to top it off, these dudes fucking rule.
They just kicked off a tour few weeks ago, new tape!!
